*If you haven't been in the exact area before, don't worry! I always send thorough directions for the studio space once clients are booked!*

- For your hair, please come with it fully dry & clean. If you worry about it holding while it is clean, I can always add texture products to help this!

- For makeup, just be sure to arrive with clean skin (no makeup, your regular skincare is ok). 

- If you have any inspiration photos or specific ideas for your hair or makeup, be sure to have them ready at the start of the appointment! I usually recommend creating a quick photo album of them in your phone so you have them all in the same place.

- Makeup appointments typically take between 30-45 minutes depending on the look you are going for!

- For hair+makeup, I usually reserve 90 minutes in case one takes longer than the other (whether the makeup is bolder or hair is longer, we will have the time). 

- For all regular appointments, payment is due the day of. 

- I typically send an invoice for on-location bookings so payment is taken care of without having to bring along a separate device, while in-studio bookings can be paid for at time of appointment (via cash or card).

- I've started to book up dates anywhere between 8 months before and over a year prior! I do take some last minute bookings if the availability is there, but the sooner is always better when reserving your makeup artist. 

- When it comes to my Saturday bookings, I do have a minimum of 4 people (Bride+3). Weddings are always my priority for weekend dates! 

- If you don't know your confirmed number of people for makeup when booking, just start at the minimum and we will add on from there once we know more for you!

- Immediately after, we can schedule your Bridal Preview! I tend to do check in's leading up to your big day regarding your booking details, makeup look, headcount, etc... We may become besties in the process!

- The final payment for your big day will always be due 30 days prior - if you are booked within 30 days of your date, final payment will be due upon receipt of invoice.

- As of October 2024 onward, I am maintaining a booking limit of 80 miles (or 160 miles round trip) from Pittsburgh, PA for my bookings. Thank you so much for your understanding!

- If within driving distance from 15226, I do charge my travel fee of $0.67/mile over 30 miles (60 miles round trip). This does not include tolls or parking, if applicable.

- This fee is for holding your date, and also goes towards the booking process itself (all email communication, calls/texts, invoicing, etc).

- I require an additional artist when the headcount exceeds 8+ people - this is only to benefit you and your loved ones! No one wants to feel rushed around or wake up earlier than needed on their big day, the beauty sleep is well needed for everyone. 

- Additional Artist fee is $100

- If your time frame is tighter & your headcount is 6-7 people, please let me know as soon as possible so I can secure an additional artist as well.

- We can get scheduled as soon as your date is booked! I typically book Bridal Previews anywhere between 2 months to 4 months before your date - this way there is still some buffer time before the wedding, but not too much where you forget what your makeup felt like. 

- I always recommend looking for a few photos as inspiration for your makeup - Check Instagram or pinterest, and save between 3-4 to your camera roll to bring in! Just be cautious of edits/blurring!

- Be sure to arrive with clean skin (no makeup, your regular skincare is ok). If you want to take an extra step, add in an overnight or hydrating mask!

- If you will be having a Spray Tan for your wedding day, line up a trial appointment around the same time so that you will get the best idea of the overall look! 

- Also consider your hair color and if that will be changing drastically before your wedding day.

- This appointment is all about YOU - when too many people are in the room, the opinions can start to shift focus from your own to theirs. 

- That being said, I only allow one additional person to come with you to your preview so all focus can stay on you!

- At this time, Bridal Previews are reserved only for those who have booked with me and sent their signed contract/retainer fee.

- All of my products get disinfected with BeautySoClean Cosmetic Sanitizer Spray and/or 70% alcohol spray between clients to kill off any bacteria. 

- Cream products, mascaras, and liquids are never double dipped; palette is used for creams/liquids, as well as disposable applicators.

- Brushes are always clean/sterilized and brushes, new sponges and puffs are never re-used on other clients.

- I absolutely do! I carry many products specifically with sensitivities in mind - for every single step of the makeup look (Fragrance free, hypoallergenic, etc.)

- I carry many different strip lashes, as well as individuals/cluster lashes! There are a variety of styles in my kit, though I do tend to use more natural styles and do not carry lashes that are on the super heavy side.

- You can get an airbrushed, long lasting look with either option! I love to use the airbrush foundation as an extra layer of coverage, and to seal in the foundation already applied! Or just using airbrush as a very light coverage. When in doubt, it is something we can decide at the appointment!

- If you are someone who has a severe allergy or sensitive skin and would feel safer bringing your own products, I can absolutely use your own products for you.

- If you just have a specific product such as a lipstick or mascara that you love, I can always incorporate those into the look with my products as well!
